Arsenal Snap up Schalke Left Back

Premier League side Arsenal have reportedly completed their first signing for next season.

According to Sportitalia writer Matteo Pedrosi, and as reported by The Sun and various German media outlets, the London club has completed the signing of FC Schalke 04 left back Sead Kolasinac on a five-year deal.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international is out of contract at the end of the season, becoming a free agent on 30 June.
The defender has been linked with the Gunners for a few months, and according to reports, he has already had a medical at the club.
Manager Arsene Wenger was asked about the signing after the news broke, but the Frenchman did not want to comment on the speculation.
“We can deny that story at the moment. Nothing has been concluded with anybody," Wenger said.
"I think it is important we do not talk about transfers."
Manchester City and Chelsea were also said to be looking at the left back, who would provide competition for Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs at the Emirates.
The 23-year-old has made 36 appearances across all competitions for his Bundesliga club this season, scoring three goals and assisting nine further strikes.
