Aston Villa defeat Lampard's Derby County to secure Premiership promotion

Aston Villa will return to the Premier League next season after headed goals from Anwar El Ghazi and John McGinn gave them a deserved victory over Derby County in Monday's Championship play-off final.

El Ghazi did really well to turn Ahmed Elmohamady's cross into the far corner with a diving header before a mistake from Derby keeper Kelle Ross allowed John McGinn to double the lead from close range in the second half.

Jack Marriott pulled one back with 10 minutes to go but it proved to be a mere consolation.
