Mikel to leave Boro for free

John Obi Mikel will become a free agent this summer after Middlesbrough decided not to offer him a new contract.
Mikel joined Boro in January 2019 on a short term deal which expired at the end of the season.
He was instrumental towards their push for the play-off spot, which they eventually lost out to Derby County on the final day of the season.
